The next Scribbler's meeting will be at the Hancock restaurant on Oct. 27 (Tues.) from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
The prompts are: "touching shoulders and/or the torch."
Pat, Sue, Carl, Ken, Lauretta, and Julie attended. Pat asked for feedback on the beginning of her novel. Sue read a story about her son leaving home and is thinking of working on the presentations of her work. Carl read a flash fiction story he wrote about losing a loved one to dementia. Ken shared a poem about Riley at the zoo (a rhyming poem!) and part of the "Jane" story he is working one. Lauretta is continuing her story about the missing street musicians. Julie shared a story about a poor girl's family who wouldn't eat a turtle because it cried.
